Configuring IPTV on Asus HDP-R1 oplay with O2/Alice DSL

EDIT: Updated .m3u below. Only Arte HD will not work correctly, because of faulty multi audio stream handling of Oplay.

Hi,

the following m3u-list is for German free IPTV (HD)TV using the net provider O2. It works also very good using VLC on OSX and Windows. After installing the modules IPTVList and UDP-to-HTTP Proxy (updxy), place it on your oplay using FTP to the following path: /usr/local/etc/mos/www/modules/iptvlist/Favorites.m3u

Notice that iptvlist works here on my oplay R1 only with AMP r10 using PlayOnHD skin (http://moservices.googlecode.com/files/amp_r10_pohd.zip). If the playing of iptv channels quits without a reason, try PlayOnHD skin.

Farvoice, thank you. Could you tell me which firmware is required for? I am not sure what firmware I did flash on the box some years ago... AMP R10 I guess.

Ok I updated to Amp R10 gui pohd7317 and replaced the Favorites.m3u in /usr/local/etc/mos/www/modules/iptvlist with my m3u list posted above.

Sadly IPTVLIST cannot play it seems. A message appears: "Cannot play file".

The codec details for the streams are:
Video
Codec: H.264 MPEG-4 AVC (Part 10)
Resolution: 1280x720
Frequency rate: 50 Hz/fps
Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV

Audio
Codec: MPEG audio layer 1/2/3 (Sometimes AC3)
Bitrate: 192kbit

Could you tell me if it's currently possible to play and if not, if there could be a patch for it?

Thanks.

EDIT: Sorry, updated codec details due VLC 2.10 shows correct infos.

I found a hint in the google code page that I need "updxy" multicast to http proxy.

Theproblem is now that the ip programs above will only work locally, not thru a proxy in the web. So I would need "updxy" directly included on the moservices. Is there a package for that?

Thanks.

The embedded Youtube player that comes with the firmware is outdated and doesn't work.
For proper Youtube playing we need to add a module that is called...Youtube :).
