Thanks for the help thus far.

A few more questions.

To flash HD2_FW_115_boot_26.zip I do it in the O! PLAY Setup > Firmware Upgrade > Usb Upgrade right ?

If so I did this but I get an error message "Image File Not Found".

Why do I get this message error message, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks once again.

Need Help Flashing HD2 via Telnet

Postby ganjamu » 22 Apr 2011, 18:03

I know but it keeps asking for login.

This is what I've done.

1.) Go to start enter "cmd" press enter
2.) In command prompt enter "telnet 192.168.0.4" (or whatever your hd2's IP is)
You can find your hd2's IP in SETUP>NETWORK>NETWORK INFO

This the part where I need help.

Please see the link below for the screenshot.

As you can I was able to enter a login but not the password, why ?

What am I doing wrong ?

I installed the HD2_1.12.06_rev3_plus_blue FW and now I don't have wireless access to my network. I tried going back to various Asus FW's but all had the same problem as the HD2, no network access. The network setup works okay and the O!Play confirms the connection but when I navigate from Home to a folder and pick Network there's nothing there.

Is there a fix for this or am I now the proud owner of an Asus brick?

Thanks
