I have the o!play air and my wlan has two access points: the router on the first floor and a repeater on the second floor. Although the o!play is on the first floor it will always connect to the repeater on the second floor. The problem is, that this will halve the bandwith (data is send from the router to the repeater and then from the repeater to the o!play, useing the same channel).
is there any way to tell the o!play to connect to a special AP? in linux I can use the command
- Code: Select all
iwconfig wlan0 ap xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
or, put
- Code: Select all
wireless_ap xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
into my network configuration (/etc/network/interfaces).
However, that did not work on the o!play.
