Working with language resources

All languages are stored in text files in UTF-8 (without BOM) in the directory /usr/local/bin/Resource with extension. str. Also in this folder a file called id_list.txt. This is also a text file that contains the names of variables, which are recorded values from the file. str.
To correct the translation of the language simply edit the file with str extension.
Example: Line number 4 id_list.txt file contains STOP. Accordingly, the choice of the English Language, 4th line of the file ENGLISH.str should contain STOP, etc.
For convenience, was written a small utility for converting files str in book format Microsoft Excel. There's more flexibility, you can edit the language (s) and convert back to str.

In our firmware /usr/local/bin/Resource read-only (so far), then save back to the player will need to rebuild the firmware or send us a edited language to be added to the firmware in future releases.

The utility converts language resources files to Microsoft Excel format and back. It's fully compatible with existing in this topic xls file.
Open the utility, click the Convert to excel. Specify the path to the *. str files (file id_list.txt must also attend). Choose the language you want to convert (or select all languages by pressing Select all, conversion procedure takes considerable time). Specify the file name of the book Excel.
Begin the conversion. At the end will open a new Excel workbook with a list of variables selected languages.
Next, edit the selected language of your choice. After this, save the file to Excel. (After saving it is desirable to close the Excel).
In the utility, click Convert from Excel. Select the book file Excel, which you edited. Choose the language you want to convert. Specify the folder where the files will be based on the edited language.
