Is there a tutorial on How to install the mod firmware for the O!Play Air R3 (I have official FW 1.29P installed) to use the player as a Media Server on my local network?

Modded FW flash as official. But before check your bootcode viewtopic.php?f=12&t=98

But the official is flashed using the TV menu whereas we install modded FW using reset, right?
I got confused. Can you clarify?

You may to flash via menu.
Via Reset button.
Via telnet by commands:
stopall
kill -6 1
choose what you like best

I thought "via menu" was not supported. Maybe I read some old post that you told us not to use it? I dunno, I just thought "reset" and "kill -6 1" were the only supported means of upgrade.

Support, trust me. Our install_a ignore -u parameter and flash all partitions.
