Asus O!Play HDP R1 - AMP R10 NoGui - Firmware Update Option

Good day to all you fellow O!Play owners!

I just downloaded from http://www.moservices.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1030 the 4 types of R10 release firmwares for my ASUS HDP R1 media player.
I tried them all in the listed order: gui hd2 skin blue, gui pohd7317, gui hds42l and finally the NOGUI firmware I have now.

The procedure was simple, just downloaded the zip files, put the install.img file on an empty fat32 usb stick and updated the firmware from the settings menu.
The problem I have with the AMP R10 NoGui firmware is that I can not find the Firmware Update Option in the Settings.
And also my remote control does not work anymore. It worked for a while, but now it just doesn't.
The only way I can control the media player if with my computer form http://192.168.x.xxx/rc.html

Pls tell me if there is a way to change the firmware. I would choose any of the previous releases as R10 NoGui doesn't seem to work for me.
If there is a way, maybe using Telnet via port 23, pls tell me!

No gui using just if you use player as home file server without tv. So you don't need it.
To change firmware

unplug power cable
insert flash drive with install.img
press reset button and don't release it
plug in power cable
when process begins release reset button

It would be much easier if the No GUI had a remark explaining that it doesn't work on a TV.
Like "No GUI-Don't use if you are connecting your player to a TV". In red/bold/underlined/blinking text .

Its evident from name of skin. No GUI - No Graphical user interface
Firmware creators thinks that users understand it.

I honestly don't think that it currently is so understandable as FW creators think.
First time I saw that skin in the list I also installed it and got confused why nothing would appear on TV screen.
I guess back then I didn't make a direct relation between GUI and skin.
But even if it says No Skin, people will always try it because they expect a player to show stuff on TV. They will always think that No Skin or No GUI is just a funny name or that it relates to something else.
