Web Browser

Postby jdotdillinger » 26 Jan 2013, 11:19

Hello All. I have an O!Play HDR1. I was wondering if it were possible to get a web browser for this device and if so how would I go about it? Thank you!

Embedded to dvdplayer? If you ask me that's an awkward solution...

FarVoice, How do I go about acquiring the amp_r9_hd2? Is it just an image I can put on a usb stick and flash? Any preparation or anything? I've been trying to get a understanding of this and this would truly help.

I was able to flash the OPlay recently to 1.41N. Thank you again.

**EDIT**

So I was able to get the amp_r9_hd2 image file. Put it on a flash drive and just tried to install it. I got an error message saying "the image is not for this board". Please advise.

***EDIT***

OK! So i got the amp_r9_hd2 image installed after much searching. Thank you very much for your help.

Yes there is an Opera Browser on there, but it's capabilities are pretty limited. Anyway to get the web browser to go to certain websites? I don't really see a place for me to enter a web address. But as always, thank you for all your hard work.
