Hi, let me talk about home-entertainment..
at this time I often use my smartphone (android) together with a Fritz!Box as media-server. Basicly it works well.
But, I have seen that is possible to use a remote control on Port 1024.
In this board I don't found a description, how is the favorite way to use this.
Questions:
- is there a way to controle everything on the smartphone (just power on the O!Play)
- working with playlist on smartphone?
- best practice...

I think this http://justin.marverinc.nl/downloads.php could work but I'm not sure because I never tried.

Interesting should be the feature to write with smartphone keyboard for youtube and other modules

In AMP firmware you have web-remote control, which works as virtual keyboard too when tv-keyboard opens!

In new version of Youtube you can change rss keyboard to original and use it.

Remote by web or by the Apk POHD Extender do not work anymore...

Everything fine back to r8... don't know for the apk and still no possibility to write through smartphone keyboard!
