Thanks guys. Especially FarVoice for doing this for the O!Play owners. I used pohd7317 skin for my firmware upgrade. From AC Ryan http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=18239link, there are 2 version of firmwares, one is for Asian and the other is for European. Is the pohd7317 skin based on the European firmware?

Yea, that could be the reason why it couldn't display Chinese char. If firmware works like Windows OS, there could be a Chinese font files in the Asian firmware. If it's not too much trouble, could we have just 1 firmware based on Asian? It doesn't even need continuous update like the European cousin. Most of us just needs to get out of the orignal Asus firmware because it is not really that good.

Hello, i want uninstal r8 version too, is there any way in original asus firmware upload iptv playlist somehow?
