Re: YouTube module

Hy everybody, from yesterday on the night I can't see any video on Youtube module.
I always get the message "Cannot play media file".
As I see on viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1635&start=210#p46591 using google translator, it seems that it's a global problem, but just form confirm and not start reflashing fimware, cant someone please confirm if it's working for any of you?
Thank you very much.

@john3voltas
Youtube developers remove infos about mediastreams from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=$id&feat ... r_embedded
Now I use the other request.

I wonder why people still like youtube.
These assholes keep changing everything everyday.
It's like we're all their beta testers...

I wonder if it is possible to create/adapt this module to work with other movie sharing websites such as for instance dailymotion, vimeo, etc.
What do you say Farvoice?

This module based on YouTubeAPI ... If somewhere there is APIs to vimea, daylimotion and e.t.c. - why not? ;)

Of course there is :).
Here is for dailymotion - http://www.dailymotion.com/developer
And this one is for vimeo - http://developer.vimeo.com/
I am sure there are others but these two would be a good start if it is possible ;).
Cheers mate

@Farvoice,
Sorry to bring up this question again, buddy, but I'm not sure if I explained it properly before.
A) While in a playlist, would it be possible to have this module play all items in the playlist one after the other?
Let's say I open playlist A which has 5 videos (1,2,3,4,5) and that I press to play video #2.
Would it be possible to have the module play video #3 when video #2 finishes playing? And play video #4 when #3 finishes playing?

B) And how about a repeat playlist? For instance, play video #1 when video #5 finishes playing?

C) And how hard would it be to also create a random/shuffle feature?
Like, I have videos 1,2,3,4,5 all in this order, right? Would it be possible to create a shuffle button that would temporarily change their order to 4,1,5,2,3 or 5,4,1,3,2?

Sorry to keep bugging you with these questions.
Thanks a bunch.
Cheers

PS: I just noticed that A) and B) could be used not only in playlists because most of the module features are in fact rss feeds with lists of video clips. So, A) and B) could also be used outside of playlists. ;)
