YouTube module

You don't need moServices Manager program - its for mos2 only
In WebUI You must go to moServices(on top menu)-->Modules and click on "update repository list" button. Then you must find module Youtube in list and click to install it. New module will appear in moS menu on your player.

I have gone to moServices in webUI - Modules and clicked on update repo...but NO module Youtube what so ever...

But you talk about moS menu? Uhm in player I see ATM (So came when installing AMP R8 POHD firmware) Youtube. But that was already there right after the install of FW. But Farvoice have Youtube R6 module he says. So I try to install that one.

Maybe it is called now: RSS Ex 2.0.11 r606? Maybe this is Youtube?

NOTHING can be installed it seems. I suspect because he (webUI) tries to connect to www.moservices.org but when I enter this website in IE it goes to another website (sites.google.com/site/farvoice) and I guess R1 webUI don't 'know' that the website changed to sites.google...maybe that is why webUI gives the error?

Because when I copy paste the link of RSSex package and paste that...I CAN download. But now I have this .tar.bz2 file on my desktop.

Maybe I can install it another way? Or how to change the webUI that it can connect to the 'correct' website?

RSSEX is another module. And it's so big and old :)
But youtube must be in repo! I can see it.
Redirecting from http://www.moservices.org to sites.google.com/site/farvoice is right.

Another method -Try to write in telnet
Code: Select all
pm install youtube alone

Do you have AMP R8 7317 POHD Firmware? I still have the R1 connected straight to my laptop network port. I enter 192.168.0.10 (R1) with my laptop. I have internet on my laptop by WIFI (as now the internet port RJ-45 I have connected to the R1 player).

I see some things are installed but alot is also not installed. It seems like the R1 doesn't want to update the repo...

R1 itself has NO internet at the moment. Because it is plugged in the laptop network port. Maybe that the webUI can not update the repo because of that? But how can I get the R1 to 'be' on the internet then? It has no WIFI itself...only the networkport that is NOW directly connected to the laptop...

Do I have to also manually fill in DNS adress in the R1 perhaps? But what is the adress of the DNS? Is it the same DNS that I get on my laptop (that is now connected through WIFI?) 10.0.0.1?

Share inet with program connectify!
Its easiest method. This program mahe hotspot in laptop and share inet. R1 get ip automatically with it.
Or you can manually share wifi and write in r1 yor laptop as default gatheway and dns.

When I fill in the gateway and DNS for the LAN port (as copy from information given by WIFI connection) then I can't get on internet anymore with my laptop.

I GUESS you can't 'divert' the WIFI-internet to the LAN port...???

I think the R1 webUI can't update repo because it has no internet connection to it? I can only access it by 192.168.0.10 but INTERNET can't GET to it I think. That is why it can't connect to http://www.moservices.org I think (and as result can not download the needed packages..)

But if I share inet with connectify it does not have use as R1 player has NO wifi....(it is ONLY wired...R3 has wifi and MINI to I guess) But I have R1.

You must conect inet to R1!

Your laptop connected to inet via wifi. So you must share this connection via ethernet.
With this program you can share inet from one ethernet/wifi card to another. Try it. Its free :-)
If you make it manually, in laptop You musth share inet in wifi connection for another users.

The TELNET you tell me gives me the same error.

Can't I install the .tar.bz2 manual perhaps? But then I would need the latest Youtube module. Maybe you can resolve the link in your webUI and send it to me then??? Perhaps that is an idea? But then we should know of a way how to install this .tar.bz2 manually with telnet I guess. But if that is possible I don't know....
