Some (or all) new movies are hosed differently than before.
Now they require HTTPS and you firmware probably doesn't have PHP engine that supports HTTPS.

mrsoje. It is too bad If AMP cannot be flashed to your device. Sorry.
Then you need to upgrade somehow the php engine, which could be done either with a hacking nightmare of replacing binaries and libraries (not recommended) or mange to add Optware (actually you need Entware with latest packages) to an ext3 partition, link it to your /opt , opkg the lighttpd + php + curl + ssl packages (1000's of files ) and modify several configs and scripts so it will run from there.

I tried to use this plugin using POHD skin at first and didnt work. Then i installed VRT skin and now it works.
Just wanted to state this as some more people might hit the same issue.

FYI, I will have soon a 1186 based player,too. Unfortunately the good classics ones on 1073/1283 cannot be found easy anymore.
Here in the mos Forum, I've been told there were alternative compatible 1186 firmware choices with good PHP (SSL etc) and better stuff so we can flash and adapt to another 1186 player by an appropriate bootcode / irfake procedure. Not as evolved & fresh as AMP, but good enough.
I will let you know when I start.
