I just repaired a Kdlinks HD720, which uses the same MeLE hardware as the iNeXT HD1.
I used the scripts in the thread. It had corrupted NAND BBT. This is a widespread problem with the Kdlinks HD720.
However, it doesn't seem that the Kdlinks HD720 (or the iNeXT HD1) have a shutdown controller that instantaneously kills the power.
Is this correct? Does the iNeXT HD1 (or other similar MeLE) have a shutdown controller that instantaneously kills the power?
If not, what else could be the cause of repeated corrupted NAND BBT besides the shutdown controller?
I watched the shutdown over the console cable. It seems to shutdown orderly. Shutdown starts with; "Sekator POWER Suspend UnInit".
Would it still be worthwhile to define a key for POWERKEY_IRRP if shutdown already seems orderly?
