Hi all, i am a new emtec n200 user whith r7 sw v. 704.6.r7317 and boot loader 0000.0202.1026L.
I have a serious problem whith the usb ports that are no more working, the drives are not loaded so is impossible to reflash or update the n200. The lan works very well so i can play films or music by the lan on a fritzbox 7270 whith usb disc on his usb port.
The telnet login works.
Is possible to update the firmware by telnet whithout charge the image file on usb?
The bord version is 1073DD .
Please help me!
Many thx
Sorry for my English

@gioele Sorry, but update FW without external drive is not possible :( Try to connect drive via SATA and reflash from it.

Many thx for your replay,
There is a telnet command to know if is an hardware problem or corrupt firmware?
Is possible to remount the usb drive by telnet?
I am not linux expert so don't know how to load a module or enable etc.
No sata on my n200 ( perhaps is possible to insert on the board by soldering but i am not able).
Thx

You have a hardware problem :(
Do the next:
unplug any drives from player
power off
power on
wait to loading system
entry to player via telnet
plug USB drive to player
execute a command
Code: Select all
dmesg

and paste ithis log here
