Windows 10 network shareing

Hi,

after 3 years of using this firmware on my asus to access movies on a network share on a Windows 7 computer, I decided to update this computer to Windows 10. Well, guess what now I cannot logon onto my network share on the windows 10 computer anymore. Before the upgrade the, with windows 7, it was working perfectly. I can see the my workgroup and when I want to enter it I get prompted my network credits to win 10. I enter them and the logon fails. The user account did not change from the windows 7 to the windows 10. It is a local user account. I tried to give access right to the share to EVERYONE, but that also did not work.

Does anybody had a similar problem and maybe have a solution to it?

Thanks!

br,
Sibi

well I havel solved it with UPNP. I created a Windows 10 Homegroup which I can logon using UPNP. Normal logon onto Workgroup still does not work.
