Any one has O!Play Live firmware ?

Postby pauli » 05 Jan 2014, 21:51

I tried to update the firmware of O!Play Live but I use AMP r11. to flash it. After that O!Play Live only shows ASUS logo and won't do anything. I tried to go in to emergency recovery. However, screens only show Preparing for update It takes a few seconds and freeze. I think my problem is the firmware I had is wrong one.

Any one has O!Play Live firmware ? I have been tried HDP-R1 or R3 firmwares and won't work.

Please help~

I have the exact same issue. I've had no luck finding a new firmware... Nothing is available on the ASUS website either.

Telnet is locked :(
Try a trick with ext3 drive:
1. Make ext3 flash drive
2. Create a symlink to / on this drive
3. Copy /etc and /sys/realtek_board directories via player's "copy" interface

You must to work under Linux.
Step 2.
cd /mnt/usb1 (mounted flash drive)
ln -s / root (make symlink to root)
Step 3.
Plug this flash drive to player and go to File manager- USB - C: - root
Stand at etc and press Edit - Copy - C:
Repeat operation with sys/realtek_boards
Then tar folders etc and realtek_boards and send it here.
