how can I download files to the player ?

I would like to open a file in Internet TV
but which is stored in the internet

in the original tv_favorite.rss stand:

storageUrl = storagePath + "TVStationUrl";

stationName = readStringFromFile(storageName);
stationUrl = readStringFromFile(storageUrl);

I've already tested getURL, but nothing is displayed

how can I open the files and how can I download the files to the player
