Thanks @pyro1000
Actually since yesterday I have been cut off completely by all channel from futubox. I cannot still make it to work or even stutter
On the other hand I have 100/10 Mbps broadband and media player is assigned to get priority over other traffic.
In fact I can confirm that playing SD channel takes around 110-150 KB/s while playing HD is using not less than 350 usually around 400 KB/s which is basically alright (roughly 4 Mbps).
I doubt is internet connection issue. At least not in my case.
Two days ago, when I posted here about stuttering of HD channels, finally I have switched to HD2 skin. Obviously I had to install iptv once again.
And then I realized that many hd channels work fine as long as I leave them alone to play and not to change the channels to quickly. Stutter would appear only when I switched from one channel to another to quickly. If I left around two or three minutes before switching another channel hd programs were fine.
Another thing I have noticed is on HD2 skin there is only one choice to stop playing hd channel which is
- Code: Select all
stop
button.
On POHD7317 skin I used to use
- Code: Select all
back
button to get back to menu and choose the other channel.
That might be the reason why the hd channel stutter more often on POHD skin.
Anyway Yesterday after I woke up there were no hd channels anymore available. None of them working the day before, was working yesterday. The player says it cannot play the file. VLC on the computer cannot play stream as well. I re-flashed firmware few times using reset button or putty command. Still no luck, so I believe I have been cut off form HD channels by Futubox.
I still believe there is problem with flushing or purging cache in media player while playing hd channels or cache memory is just to low.
