New line of FW - AMP (r13)

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the amp_r13_nogui.zip file and the "ordinary install" amp_r13_nogui_install.zip file? I have read the majority of this topic, and searched the forums, but have not been able to find an answer to that question. Thank you.

I assume that's because I've already got AMP on my device? Which one would I use if I didn't already have AMP on my device? Thanks.

Don't know if this question has been asked before, though through search I didn't find it. Does anyone know if this firmware would allow setting up a hidden network?

Do you mean hide access point via wifi?

No FarVoice. I am trying to access a wifi network that's not broadcast (hidden wifi network). The problem is I cannot get the player to detect the network at all, and there's no option to enter the SSID manually, at least not on the GUI. So I wonder if there's a way to do it otherwise, say, via telnet commands, for instance.

If you cool hacker, you may edit sqlite config file /usr/local/etc/dvdplayer/Setup .

Code: Select all

I'm no developer. And I don't really understand why the dvd file should be modified to connect to a hidden network. Wouldn't it be simpler to modify the wpa_supplicant.conf wpa_supplicant.conf, if there's one?

Hello , i have one question about Asus O!Play HDP-R1 for local specialist  , i have this machine a lot of years , is the best of the world :D android machines is very bad , but i need fix one problem with BIG FULL HD videos 12-20GB.
Because this machine have only 100mbit ethernet and not good buffering , and the videos not loading good , sometimes the video stop and 2 frame rate playing , its very bad , sometimes continue normal , sometimes not .
My idea is a slow ethernet or small size buffering videos .
I buy external usb gigabit ethernet from i-tec gigabit usb 3.0 fully compatible with usb 2.0 , but when i plug in to the usb , communication is not have , the led green and orange blinking, but still not entry to the network .
I think that need to install some drivers for Linux distribution , but i dont know how , and if it possible ? i have a cd from i tec , where i find drivers of format : gbit.tar.gz2
i try it with telnet, but my mission is false :D
So sorry for my bad english and thank you for your solution and help.

1. Installing usb-lan adapter in player - it is difficult and don't give the expected result.
2. The capacity of SMB-protocol is 50Mbit. Try to use NFS or FTP.
