Hi,
Thank you for this great firmware!
But there´s one problem: Is it possible to get dtsHD and Dolby TrueHD to work?
I have a HDP-R1 with r9 and HDMI RAW out. LPCM sounds awful.. don´t think, its decoded correctly in O!Play doer Receiver :(

Hi, I have an Xtreamer MK1, currently running on the official 2.71 firmware. I would love to try one of the firmwares mentioned in this thread, but I'm still a bit hesistant - which one would you recommend? And do I use the same flashing procedure as usual? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Two other questions...

1. Will I lose any functionality, like e.g. fan control?
2. Are there any videos/screenshots that show the skins in action?

Hi, I have problems to install modules. For instance Youtube.
LOG: /usr/local/etc/mos/bin/pm install youtube
Install package youtube...
--2013-01-06 02:38:59-- http://www.moservices.org/mos3/youtube.tar.bz2
Resolving http://www.moservices.org... failed: Unknown host.
wget: unable to resolve host address 'www.moservices.org'
Load error: Unable to download http://www.moservices.org/mos3/youtube.tar.bz2

But I can download youtube.tar.bz2 to my HDD with no problem. May I install it manualy?

Yes. Copy youtube.tar.bz2 to /tmp folder and type a command at telnet session
Code: Select all
pm install youtube

To grimlock and others,

I dont have a screenshot, but it works great, the interface looks much better then the official one, if you don like it you can always flash (home/3/power) the emergency firmware of the official xtreamer mk1 v2.7.1(red interface) or xtreamer pro(blue interface), the only thing i did not find yet is that i cant copy files or delete them with amp_r9_pohd, but i dont miss that feature i use an external hdd with my mk1. from amp_r5_pohd till amp_r9_pohd i tried them all, the amp_r9_pohd is the best for me. i like the subs features, change fonts and font size + color, better view (change background in amp_r9_pohd,the offical v2.7.1 interface/skin looks terrible), the better thing for this menu is that i can use the HFS+ (mac) partition, that i use for WMV files on my xbox360, the official xtreamer mk1 v2.7.1(red interface)cant do this only NTFS an FAT32

i flashed a lot of xtreamer mk1 devices over and over, for friends and family without any problem, its always a risk
but very small if there is no power failure during the flash, i know i dont use amp_r9_pohd full potential but there are a lot
of options/services to activate with the pc on the mk1 with this firmware

I still very thankfull for this
Grtz ;)

my small question:
for the youtube feature, its not a very big wish. i activated the mos module for YouTube, but how do i search a movie,
i only see an overview with the most recent movies, thx for the effort

Nobb question - if i flash my Xtreamer MK1 will all the remote keys function as they did with the original 2.7.1 firmware, or would i need programing? i have no wifi so reprogramming is an issue.

I installed the icon bit, well, very fast, clean Interface, more intuitive than the AC, but I do not recognize the thumb gene set for AC Ryan, would be in a folder (the movie, thumb files folder.jpg and gene (0001.jpg and metadata)) it recognizes the synopsis (0001.jpg) as a folder, a sentence synopsis pq I have made with the thmb gene in all some 700 films so I had to remove

Then I intalado ampR9 AC.Ryan well, seems faster than version 8, but the function is disabled while scanning the HD does with anyone who is conctado, in my case I have 4 HD teras 1 and 2, as picks up and scans the first putting on the main screen movies recently added, not a big problem, but seems like a bug.
