No worries. I have found the new zoom feature on the menu on the "MUSIC" button, where you can zoom at any size. Excellent! Good work!

Hi,

I have a problem with slow forward and rewind films. My storage disk (Seagate Slim 500GB USB3.0 (STCD500204)) is conntected with router.
On my Asus I can`t forward and rewind faster than 2x and option GO TO does not work.

On the other TV I haven`t problem with fast forward and rewind films (even 32 x).

When I stick USB storage into Asus and when I share catalog with films on my PC I haven`t problem on Asus.

I think something is wrong with transmission or buffer.

Do you know the solution ?

Thanks for help

Xtreamer Pro LEDs

Postby rudeblunt » 21 Apr 2015, 21:05

Sorry if this has already been asked, I was wondering if there is a way/moservices module to activate the functionality of the xTreamer Pro front panel indicator LEDs, but with the VRT gui, i installed amp_r12 yesterday and now only power is on, I miss all my green LEDS (hda, hdb, network).

Also, is there a (non manual) way to replace the telnet interface for an sshd daemon, i can probably do this by tinkering with the init scripts and by using optware, but I was wondering if there was a module or something like that...

Again sorry if these questions have already been asked (and answered) I don't speak russian but if you point me to the answers I will try my luck with Google translator...

Thanks and keep up the good work...

Once upon a time Virtual wrote a little module for xTreamer, that switches the HDD LEDs
Load attached file, move it to player's /tmp folder and exec the next command on telnet session
Code: Select all
pm install xtreamerled

About ssh - we don't make this service. IMHO telnet with password is enough.

Hi, thanks for that, i was able to install the module by running:

Code: Select all
pm install xtreamerled alone

Or there would be an error,

I had to change the etc/init/s90xtreamerled like so:
Code: Select all
--- s90xtreamerled
+++ s90xtreamerled.new
@@ -3,7 +3,7 @@
 case "$1" in
   start)
    stty -F /dev/tts/1 cs8 57600
-echo -en '\xfe\x42\x01\x01\xff' >/dev/tts/1
+echo -en '\xfe\x42\x00\x01\xff' >/dev/tts/1
 echo -en '\xfe\x42\x04\x01\xff' >/dev/tts/1
    touch /tmp/run/xtreamerled.pid
    ;;

To light up the "network" led instead of "NAS mode"

Also I will probably develop an openssh module, maybe it could be included in the downloadable packages.

Some time ago I used my xtreamer pro (with original firmware and xmp) as a ssh gateway, to do this I had to keep the box ssh port public, also I could forward ports and even run a socks4 proxy, using nothing else but the sshd daemon. I find the sshd daemon very useful.

Thanks again,
