Grey ugly subtitles

Grey ugly subtitles

Postby verona » 14 Jul 2013, 18:22

Hi. Sorry for bad english.

I buy Asus O!Play HD2 few days ago (orginal firmware). But i have problem.. I play only movies with subtitles, (in this example mkv + srt) but subtitles is very ugly! They have grey color and sharped borders. HD2 have option to change subtitles color, but only on green, yellow, blue etc. Who watch movies with blue subtitles?!. No option to change to real white color!

So i find moServices - alternative firmware. So this there is my question. This firmware have more options to subtitles look change than standard firmware from Asus? I can change subtitles look to real white + smoth black border?

Regards!

no one :) Try another GUI as pohd, icon or measy. It's more fresh than hd2.

Yep, most of the movies I watch are either subtitled (70-80%) or are dubbed Disney Animations (20-30%).
I am using AMP 10 with iconBIT skin on my HDP-R1 and I can confirm that my subs are bright white.
Don't know about other skins.
Cheers
