Create your own modules

Hi, guys.

I'm a programmer with some experience in other devices liek Android, robots(Roomba, etc..) and more; and I'am interesting in create my own modules. The question is:

Where I can found information about creating custom modules?.

I have seen that modules are written in php language, that's very strange for me... I had supposed modules are written in C or C++ language...

Hi Ethiel,
do you think you could write an app for Android let us control software via smartphone or tablet? (at the moment we have a web based control trough ip...)
You know... typing and surfing with remote is not so quick and simple...

Yes, of course I can. It is not my main idea, but is a possibility.

Yes almost all modules are web based applications so it must be parsed through php or witten in pure rss format. However you can write your own application in any language and be able to use it in web based environment. You must remember that is linux OS and is very flexible environment.

Guys, it is not good at all...first it does not show how to input web page and then it is all based on simple example. Why you guys don't make a real guide with youtube module or any other and show us piece by piece how to build one.

Question that I have posted with something like this have viewed more than 300 times, so there is definitely lots of interest for it. :-)
