Flash stream grabber for IPTVLIST or IPTVxtra

Flash stream grabber for IPTVLIST or IPTVxtra

Postby john3voltas » 17 Jun 2012, 22:40

So any of you guys running IPTVLIST or IPTVxtra and would like to watch some streams you find on the Internet?
I guess you need to run rtmpserv or rtmpsuck to sniff your network traffic and find the stream URL.
You can use URL Helper which is payware, works fine, doesn't use rtmpserv/rtmpsuck, instead uses WinPCAP.
Or you can use RTMPExplorer/RTMPExploreX.
But I'd advise you to try a newcomer: RTMPDumpHelper.
This baby rocks.
Then you just add the stream URL to your IPTVLIST/IPTVxtra playlists.
Just post if you need any help.
Cheers

Thanks John, very good tip! I have highly estimated much of the Nirsoft programs for quite a long time - handy and useful little freeware gems.

These days I use them from a utilities shell named Windows System Control Center. This WSCC (freeware) is a container for all of the Nirsoft utilities, the famous Sysinternals tools and a bunch of Windows' own system tools. Plus it has its own update mechanism for all of these programs. RTMPDumpHelper of course is in this package.
