Amazing.
Do you mean that those YT dev guys are f**king with the code everyday? Like making it difficult for us to watch the videos on media players other than our browsers?

Thanks!

I wonder why, my XBMC box, amp8 and the original AC Ryan Youtube module are often broken with a google revision. My EM7075 youtube service keeps working. :?:

Hello Farvoice,

can you please tell me how to connect R1 to my laptop in order to access the webgui.

When I put ethernet RJ45 cable in R1 and other end in laptop ethernetport I can't enter.

When I show ip adress in R1 it gives me adress is like 169.x.x.x

It should be in the range of 192.168.x.x isn't it? But it doesn't get that IP adres. It says like 'DHCP not ready'.

When I put in manual ipadress of 192.168.0.2 (and laptop fix ip also 192.168.0.2) it shows 'connected' (2 little computers lighting up near clock utmost right below in Windows. Where the time shows).

But still I can't connect to webGUI.

I need to connect it so I can update to latest Youtube module version. Because the one that I now have (from original AMP8) can't PLAY the video's. I can load the 'thumbnails that go with the video but it can't PLAY them..

Thank you in advance.

p.s. As you might understand....TELNET did also not work for me.

@pokrass: But if I understand correctly then the R1 should get the correct IP-adress on its own? So (consider I rebooted the router) I should not even have to manual enter IP in R1 and in TCP/IP setting under Windows XP?

ADD: Pokrass....I don't have R1 attached to router. I have it DIRECTLY to my laptop LAN-port...So R1 <-> LAN-port of laptop. With RJ-45 cable.

To get IP address automatically some hotspot must give it. :)

When you connect R1-PC (or PC-PC) you must enter IP manually on your R1 and on your PC.

Or try Connectify - it program make hotspot from PC. Easiest way

@Pokrass: I have connection to the R1 now. I was stupid. I had given the PC same IP-adress as the R1. But you have to give R1 for example: 192.168.0.10 and PC 192.168.0.1
Then I could connect to webGUI. But now there is another problem....in webGUI I don't find any Youtube update module...When I also go to LOG (In webGUI) it shows: Resolving www.moservices.org...failed: Name or service not known. unable to download: http://www.moservices.org/mos3/packages.tar.bz2

What should I do now? I already tried moServices Manager program. It communicates with the R1 but it shows that NOTHING is installed. But all are available...but also no Youtube R6 module there. :(

If I go to Options in program then I changed the adress to www.moservices.org but still no Youtube module and everything else is the same.
